HIMALAYA
Para-Alpinism Expedition  |   2024

Art work of this expedition available here

OBJECTIF  -   KYAJO RI  -  6 025 m    /   CHOLATSE  -  6 120 m

In the fall of 2024, I led an expedition in the Himalayas with a dual goal: to summit and attempt to paraglide from Kyajo Ri and Cholatse, two towering peaks that are as majestic as they are demanding.
This adventure was marked by a world-first when we successfully took off from Cholatse, combining mountaineering and paragliding in a unique and groundbreaking feat.

The expedition gave birth to my first film as an athlete-artist, What Brings You Up There, which explores the paradoxes that drive us all in a world obsessed with the pursuit of “always more.”

Through the intimate story of my journey, the film delves into my relentless pursuit alongside my climbing partners, Mitch and Cchiring, as we venture towards the summits of Kyajo Ri and Cholatse. With few words and raw emotions, What Brings You Up There offers no answers, only an invitation to explore your own motivations and find your own path.

This expedition and film embody the powerful connection between nature, and our innermost drives, questioning what truly compels us.
