Ce livre est bien plus qu’un simple prolongement du film éponyme ; c’est un voyage intime et visuel, fruit de deux années de création, d’exploration et de partage.
À travers des photographies d’une rare intensité, réalisées en argentique et sublimées en tirages lithographiques dans le laboratoire.
Chaque image est une empreinte tangible, un instant figé où se croisent la lumière, les ombres et la démesure des cimes.
Mais POURQUOI TU VAS LÀ-HAUT ne s’arrête pas aux images. Il donne également la parole aux athlètes, à ces passionnés qui ont accepté de dévoiler leurs récits personnels, leurs rêves, leurs doutes, et cette irrésistible attraction pour les hauteurs.
Leurs mots résonnent comme un écho à leur engagement, à leur quête de liberté et de dépassement.
Ce livre est une déclaration d’amour à la culture de la montagne. Un hommage vibrant à la passion et à la dévotion de Nathanaël et de ses amis, des hommes et des femmes qui vivent pour l’extérieur, pour ces instants suspendus où l’on tutoie le ciel.
Entre récits personnels, œuvres d’art et photographies empreintes de poésie. Une invitation à s’interroger, à ressentir, et à comprendre ce qui pousse nos âmes.
